it is a hand made craft spanish brooch from toledo
the black part of is steel and the inlay is high karat gold
bird and floral design filigree setting
the Damascene process uses real silver and high karat gold
The amount of gold used is tiny, foil and wire are used in this process
Vintage 1970's old fashioned safety clasp
items are second hand, used, may have marks, scratches, bumps etc.
