Silver plated basket engraved monogram edwardian

Glorious Edwardian EPNS Silver Plate Serving Basket. Everything looks better in this basket you could use it to arrange flowers, or serve dinner rolls, Fruit, or Candy. Would look lovely on a brides table.

This bright silver-plated basket has a a moveable handle which lies on either side.

Please note this is engraved (see the photo) with the initials TF or maybe VF and a date 19 10/13 17 which I read as October 13, 1917.

This is an antique basket that does have some scratches and some minor plating loss from use, but otherwise in good condition.

This silver-plated server is 11.75 inches long and 8 inches across. The basket, not including the handle is 3.75 inches high.

Electroplated nickel silver, or EPNS is when a layer of silver is attached to a nickel base through an electrochemical process.
